I am a Health Professional (Registered Nurse) who has spent most of my working life in the Emergency Department performing life saving skills for people in need. As the Founder of Kids Alive CPR, I have been teaching Infant and child first aid in the Ballarat and surrounding regions for the past three years.
I am most importantly a mother of three adventurous and extremely energetic children. All of my children have suffered through intolerances. My youngest being our most challenging and unwell. Through watching him suffer anaphylaxis, severe eczema and various other ailments, I discovered Neurolink and Bowen Therapy to help with his conditions. After trying several other therapies with limited success I have now seen and experienced the positive effect that these two therapies can have on health and well being for both the individual and their family.
The outcomes that these therapies have had with my youngest son have been life changing including his skin being predominately free of eczema, improvement in sleep patterns, decrease in asthma symptoms and his motor and cognitive function have increased as he is less irritated by the symptoms he previously experienced.
In 2016 I studied my Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy and completed Neurolink Modules A and B. I have completed a Bachelor of Nursing, Post Graduate Diploma in Emergency Nursing, Post Graduate studies in Primary Health Care/Health Promotion and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Being born and bred in Ballarat I have a particular connection to the Ballarat community and influencing the health of young individuals and families. With my training and experience, I hope to provide the Ballarat community with an alternative form of therapy that will have the same positive effects that I have seen in my family. This is why I have developed Health Connection Ballarat, a holistic, high quality family friendly practice.
